I definitely wouldnt say most cichlids are hybrids, but that one looks like a hybrid to me.

Ok well then this is awkward...most fish I see at my local pet store aren't pure breeds.All of the african cichlids except for the auratus cichlids are not pure breeds.

That's different.....we're talking about American cichlids. African cichlids are always mixed all times.

Oh, thats why you guys were disagreeing.I was talking about africans.
