I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen or has experienced keeping yellow grammodes. I saw this fish at a store that I happen to visit every once in a while. And basically it at least looked like a grammodes, but instead of all the color it was yellow.

Has anyone ever seen or owned such a fish.

I'm thinking of getting it, but it is expensive.

Its xanthic? Or is it not actually a Grammodes but a Salvini instead? If it is Grammodes I would say it would be the same as any other Grammodes care wise, just yellow.

^^^ Those might help as well :)

Man, I know what a salvini looks like. Definately wasn't it

Sorry if I might seem harsh in this response, didn't mean to

No insult intended. You gave me a description of a yellow "guapote looking" fish, Salvini meet that description.

I'm going through rapp's picture's page

And it looks like it could be a beani/grammodes/freddy/loiselli

I'm thinking about going back there to get it. They wanted 100 for it though.

except that guapotes include Parachromis and Red bay snooks, all of which have different shaped large gaping mouths and reach 12-24", Salvini don't fit the description of guapote to myself.

whatever moving along...
