yellow lab color change?

I didn't mean to. I agree that there is no way to tell the purity. None of mine have white except my Albino strain. White shows up in the males.

Your fish should be fine health wise.

Unless its sick... Females are almost white, a very light yellow. Males are bright yellow with more black... Their colors can change from the hiarchy of the tank and water conditions.

Personally never noticed that. My females are just as bright yellow as my males and don't show any white.

Maybe their yellow is close, but majority of the males are much brighter.. How are the black on the fins? And males get bigger.

My females don't have the black on the pectoral fins only the dorsal fin. I agree they don't get as big as the males.
