Welcome to NO HYBRIDS 101... I'm Bryan and as your teacher today I will tell you that asking for help hybridizing your fish here is like asking people to believe that the world is flat again. Basically you will not get any help here at MFK. I,myself, have asked before to strict instructions that the world will end and my "hybridized" fish will pollute the entire worlds supply of African cichlids.
That being said. You can do whatever it is that you want to do with your tank. Yellow labs are very prolific and they can and will breed with just about anything the same size or a little bigger than they are. However, they bring a very good look to a tank by themselves. My suggestion is to get yourself a couple more and let them breed in the tank. You will be enjoying lots of little labs in no time. Hope this helps!
