yellow labridens - who keeps them?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i think 75 might be kind of small... these guys max around 8-9" i think. so you are pretty much limited to a pair at the most in a tank that size. that's my guess at least. i think a reasonable colony set up might require at least a 150 gallon or something.

I'm getting in some yellows and blues end of the week, I'll post them for sale next week. Prices will be reasonable. Ken

Ken, any idea how much tension there would be between 1 escondido and 1 labridens in a 75gallon or would you not suggest mixing them period?

would you mind if i asked you what you paid? i remember he had them a while back. thanks.

A long car ride.. I had to drive 2 hours to pick him up but I got a male red tiger motaguense, a bunch of RTM fry, 5-6 cutteri, and this guy for free. I'd say he's worth $30 easily.

I keep a 5" blue labriden and a 5" carpinte in the same tank no problem but my tank is 115 gallons. I think you could keep 1 of each together pretty easily. Just watch them carefully as they grow to adulthood.

Mo, mine has a nice blue color, the picture does kind of just make it look like a gray fish. Definitely one you have to see in person to appreciate it's beauty.

I'm picking up 4 F1 yellow Labridens for £120 @ 3-4"... 1 male, 3 female.... That is a bargain over here in the UK.... As there quite rare.

I have a mate whose a yank but lives in UK who has:

Yellow lab, white lab, blue lab, PAntos, Tams, BEani.... Lucky man! Oh an Istlanum...
