looking at the second picture, it looks scary. However it is a 20g long. It is only 12" tall X 30" long. it only looks huge in the picture! those are yellow lab babies , the biggest in the picture is less than 2" long.
My 125g has the free-form stacked slate (new post picture below) that is set on the egg crate, then gravel move to cover. it is stable. I am not losing any sleep.
