Yellow labs in a 55g?

do you still have them... i would love to see a pic.... when i turn down an arrangement of fish it is because it is not nessasary to mix these two... if for some reason some one had to do it... well then maybe it would work.. but if you do not need to why take the chance and purchase them just to lose them..

No, I don't still have them. I took down my African tank. My point was, this tank was set up for 2 years - The Loaches were never nipped at at all, and they got plenty of food.

I never said they would thrive. Having them happy for 2 years isn't quite thriving.

I never said he should do it. That's his decision. I was just telling him my past, positive experience with this mix of fish.

good to know it worked for you.. alot of unusual combinations work... thats what is so interesting about fishkeeping..
