One of mine looks yellow but then it has red spots. It's green and yellow with small red dots (often called "wild caught"), that one looks like the red is yellow

the pic iLIVE4ThIs0309 posted could possibly be one of the other Astronotus species...possibly Astronotus orbicularis .

Orbics darken as they age.

That looks very much like the adult version of the crassipinnis Oscar, its a wild strain, right out of Peru. My boyfriend and I have 2 juveniles.

Now that is a yellow oscar. The orbics are pretty much just wild oscars. The albino strain is pretty much what I think of when someone syas yellow oscar.

you guys are lucky!!!I wish that i could come across 1 of those bad boys.I love those "yellow"or pure"white" Oscars.

This yellow oscar has a real colour. In Brazil we call them Lutino, is an albine with a yellow gen. With the age, it naturally looses a little (just a little) of the yellow basis.
