Do lots of water changes, or just learn to live with it. Eventually, like it was stated before, it should just stop to give it all off....so yeah...hopefully.
I have 3 pieces in my tank, and I have never had a problem with it leaching. Just do water changes and use Purigen because it lasts longer than carbon.
