Yellowest Ornate I've ever seen

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
is300zx.....THAT is now the yellowest I've ever seen! Very nice! When my ornate grows up he wants to be like yours lol. If you compare that with my other 2 ornates, there's gotta be a subspecies or somekind of difference, like 2 of mine are brown, like brown, not even the slightest suggestion of yellow. Keep em coming if there's more!

Rallysman's ornate has some awesome yellow color. His pic....

That pic was taken about a year ago when I first got it. It's now about 10" and the yellow is not as bright as it used to be. A lot of the black came out. I also have a smaller one at 7" and it's color is washed out compared to the big one even when it was smaller. Rallysman also has a very yellow ornate similar to mine.

Here's what the big one looks like now.

Whoa! Verrrrry nice ornates!
Speaking of yellow ornates...
while we find the yellow base nice, others actually prefer the darker ones (brown, off-white,etc).
Me, i like em all. :)

The light is two fluorcsent bulbs. It produces white light not yellow.

From what I've seen it still has a lot of yellow, but I don't think it's as intense. It hides a lot of the time. I'll spook him out and try to get some pix. He has definitely grown a lot:D
