yellowish tint

I'm pretty sure that yellowish tint is from the drift wood. If it bothers you that much, set up a uv sterilzer and it will clear it up pretty well.
For a 120gal I would get a small unit like 8w or so. I use to run a 8w on my 180gal and it works great. its on all the time so the small wattage didn't matter.

well i had let it set for 2 days and it started turning green, thats why i figured the algae bloom out. it was because i kept doing water changes that it was light but i guess the light was giving it a yellowish tint. when i cleaned out my filters it was a dark green color.
