In the episode, they got attacked trying at night. Ended up smoking them out.

I guess I was just lucky that I wasn't attacked when I sprayed and killed the ones that I had.

Night usually means colder weather which slows them down. It's still the best time to spray.

Success! Dual cans in their general vicinity seems to have done the trick. Dropped like flies, I guess the real test will be see if they come back tomorrow.

I think I killed them I just dumped two full bottles of that white spray stuff near their old nest area

Get the spray and give them a good dousing at night when they are asleep,or,see if the cold snap kills them.
