You should be happy because true ocellaris don't come around too often since the mono/ocell hybrids are mainly flooding the markets. It's very beautiful in my eyes. So what are you feeding it?
thats not true at all if you buy online from reputable dealers i will however agree that the lfs usually carry hybrids unless they know where to order

hes been in the tank 4 to 6 months now. Some days his markings are real bold. some days they arent. When hes chaseing the polleni and salvinis his markings are real bold. When hes not hes real goldish. Could it be because i have white gravel in the tank. I got bunch black gravel. i could put in. Reason i have the white in there is because i wanted to brighten the tank up.

o yeah. It gets feeders. and crickets. yep crickets. when u dump ten bucks in crickets in plenty go in the water.

That's what I meant. If you order from someone like tangledupincichlids, riverwonders, snookn21, etc. then you know what you're getting. However at the lfs you will never guarantee anything. I should've rephrased that better.
 
So everyone agress its a ocell. What do u think about me switching the white gravel to black to make his markings come out better?
