Hello all! Since I introduced myself, I thought I'd post some of my "monster" fish...
2.5 gallon nano
Male betta/freshwater flounder/flying fox
Red sea nano filter
Mini heater
12" Under-cabinet Lowe's light
He's about three now, just over the hill.
The baby flounder.
60 gallon
Goldfish/betta/apple snail (Pomacea Bridgesii)
Rena Filstar xp3
Whisper air pump
48" Lowe's shop light
This is Napoleon. He started the madness. I won him at a local fair two years ago. He was under 1 inch then. Now he's 10 inches. He survived the goldfish bowl, major illnesses, and now he's got a nice big house.
He's very fierce. Really. Promise.
You rang?
Upstart came home from the LFS with a friend, Rascal. Rascal didn't make if too long. She's grown almost 8 inches in about a year and a half, and gone from mostly orange to pure white.
Sakura, a 7" shubunkin.
Morris, a 3" baby fancy. A petsmart rescue. When I got him, I was sure I would have to find a new home for him, since I have swift swimmers and he's just a little round guy. However, he's been holding his own. Rock on, little dude.
The lovers.
Alexei, a 5" baby comet:
The classic goldfish suck, sift, and spit routine:
Notice the snail creeping up on her:
Shiny fish!
The betta girls:
And the reigning king:
And two of the snails:
Here's the catfish.
The me-fish.
And the boyfriend... uh.. fish.
Whew. That's everyone! Hope you enjoyed.
