Just a quick update so from a spawn about a month ago I pulled out about 40 eggs before they got eaten. Babies are doing great then now I have this in my tank with the next lot of fry. I dont expect the fry to survive as the parents are still learning to raise them.

Problem I have with plants is not the fish tearing them up...it's algae. I turn the lights on 6-8 hours, plants start looking good, and then algae starts to cover the leaves. Turn the lights down to 3-4 hours, algae starts to slow down, and then the plants start looking bad.
