Just ordered a new 500w heater, and more powerful air pump, a 60" Air diffuser, New black air line, etc.

The 500w heater that came with the trade has a lot of condensation inside, so it will be removed. I did not see it until it was in the tank (not plugged in)

My living room is completely trashed! Can't wait to start putting plants and décor in there...

Adding sacrificial white clouds and guppies today. The tank shows zero ammonia this morning after I got it to almost 3 yesterday. Also showing zero Nitrite, and .05 nitrate. So the media I used in the filter is doing it's job well. I love using well cycled media and sand for a new tank... It will still be almost a month before it gets the rope family...

Stuck a few odd bits of decor in today just to break up the blah of plain sand... It will eventually have a LOT of plants, a six foot bubble wall at the back, and different more cohesive design, but this is just what I had around the house for now... It will evolve to be a creative, Rope friendly home.

Added a few "Blind Cave Fish" to the new tank today. They have no eyes, and find their food by smell while navigating the tank by using the sounds around them to "echo locate" like bats.
