Personally I don't like Anchoivies too messy and they break up too easy. Plus they are full of blood that will foul the water quickly. I like Silver Sides Better. They are called PAI FAN YU in Chinese as in (Whiet Rice Fish) Their bodies are firm and dont break apart even after being frozen and no scales or blodd to mess with. A much neater fish to feed.

Funny thing is that I Googled up silver sides and they look dfifferent from the ones I feed. I will try to get pics soon.

Dude..the ones i got are cleaned and entrails removed plus the head..no mess and do not fall apart...

will feed more tonight.

I use silversides from sallys. my Bichir, knifes, and plecos love em. BTW rockygoldy nice plate very cool

Here's what I use. if I need to feed anything aside from pellets.

They are white but the pic looks gray cause I just threw the actual frozen package on my scanner and couldn't close the lid.
