they will go berserk over frozen bloodworm cubes if that helps any

That does help alot, I have my other cats on a diet of tilapia, pellets, and worms.

my first one grew to almost a foot long total length. my second M. leucophasis is still half grown @6". IME, they dont bother other fishes in the tank. just keep yours well fed and it will grow to its max size.

What do you feed yours? And how long did it take to grow that large? The largest one is just a hair under 4" and the smallest one is about 3.5"ish.
