Is the black coloring on the dorsal fin indicative only with juvenile ocells?

This video shows "C. ocellaris" clearly with very black dorsal fins. Are these actaully monos, is the black dorsal fin coloration possibly due to their mating, or is this just another case of wide variability between species?
Could you be more specific in regards to head shape and bar shape? To my untrained eye the head shapes look similar between monos and ocells.
