instead of earthworms you might try to locate the smaller "trout" worms.....

what exactly is the difference? and has anybody used garlic treatment with rays???

trout worms are smaller in physical size........easier for the ray to eat.


i dont have to chop them for my retic, nightcrawlers i have to chop

my ray is about 8". I have seen her eat full silversides no problem. i dont think its an issue of what size the food is, but thank you for your response.

i have used 4# per 100 with arowanna with no ill effect... go with red wigglers or night crawlers if you have to buy worms... just keep trying the warm dark tank with the silver sides....

nope not really... some nutritional properties but thats about it... i feed both
