Yet another Terrible LFS thread.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
My closest lfs is in walking distance:WHOA: and i go there almost everyday (i bought 85 percent of my fish there) and one day he had like 600+ cardinals plus 50 hachets in this 40 gallon tank:eek: i have kinda given up on him i dont want to give him a bad name but once he put a 5 inch piranha with a catfish it was half dead and never moved and the piranha took huge bites out of his fins i told the owner to move it but he wouldnt :irked:

I was at a LPS the other day.and overheard this
Patron: Can I put other fish in with this Piranha? (points to a Piranha)
Employee: If you put them in as babies, they should get used to each other
So I walked over
Me: You can put what ever you want in with it, but as soon as he gets hungry or has a bad day, the other fish will be gone.
It turned out the employee was new, and had alot to leqrn. On the bright side, he was eager to learn.

That's horrible man! it's really sad, most LFS are exactly like that and are only in it for the money. It's a real damn shame that the fish have to go through such cruel treatment.

If I were you I'd probably try and get something going, maybe call Peta at the risk of sounding like an annoyance.

all I can say is... wow.... what an idiot.
