Value can never be based on price alone, especially with pet food. The true value comes down to the nutrient value to the fish, as in digestibility & bioavailablity of the ingredients. In commercial aquaculture, where feed costs are analyzed using the latest high tech computer programs, the feed conversion ratio (FCR) is again just as important, as overall health, longevity, etc. Feed a bag of Old Roy to your 100 pound dog and watch what comes out the other end. Keep a shovel handy! Yeah, it's sticker price is low, too, but in the end if it takes more feed to net the same growth results in an animal, the cheap comes out expensive. Then factor in overall health, and longevity. If that matters to you.
BTW - New Life International is family owned & operated, on a farm in Homestead Florida. They have a complete USDA & APHIS approved feed mill operation and make their own food, and pack that food on site.
