Yikes...my hand!

I have a tank with 2 firemouths, 4 blood parrots, 1 pike, 2 severums, and a pleco. I tried to get the veggie clip out of there today, (food for the pleco) and my cichlids were going after my hand like its food. Has this happened to anyone else?
They were just fed about an hour ago and still they wanna eat my hand lol.

I think that your real cichlids are just pissed at you for making them live in a tank with BP hybrids....

all my fish try to eat my hand. or anything that isn't in there regularly

thats why adding new tankmates for me is tough :(

and moving around decor is tough
 
Yeah I hear you on that. I pretty much expect my puffers to go after my hand but I just didn't know that my cichlids would do that too...lol.
 
mine bite me all the time. not out of aggression, but looking for food
 
Aww come on. Don't hate on my blood parrots, they are cute! And to be honest, I didn't know they were hybrids until I got home and looked it up on the net. I have them now and I might as well enjoy them lol. :)

I supose so:) yeah my GT used to thinking my finger was food.....R.I.P
 
Well I am glad that i am not alone in this then...lol. I would say im more scared of the puffers biting me cos they have beaks. I can handle the cichlids, just caught me off guard thats all lol. :)
How long did you have your GT for?
