All of my fish nibble my hand when its in the tank...even the swordtails and mollies.

wow...even they do it? lol..I will keep that in mind.

My 15 inch fresh water, water cow fish took off one of my nails,I was feeding him a shrimp and he got too excited>I'm worried because i just had my nails done and he didn't spit the nail out he ate it,an acrylic nail.

That would freak me out. How long ago was that? Is he still ok?

I have platy's...I will also keep this mind lol. So far on my puffers and now cichlids have gone after my hand. None of the others...yet. lol.

Never had any of my cichlids go after my hands.... The only thing that I have noticed is that my oscars tend to swim close and rub up next to my hand when I'm vacuuming out the gravel and doing water changes. They are the only ones that then to come close from hand feedings.

My Barred Midas make me bleed to the point where I have to hold a paper towel on it for a while. I actually have teeth marks on my middle finger right now from the last time I fixed my filter inlet about a week ago. My Managuense bite me but only when I get to close to their nesting site and my female has SOME LARGE Psuedocanines let me tell you lol. You definately know when you've been bit. Anyways it's just aggression or the though of you giving food to them. Like I can't even stick a siphon hose in my Midas tank without it flying out and getting dragged all over the tank. My Barred Midas is insane but my White Midas is a little calmer.

Aww come on. Don't hate on my blood parrots, they are cute! And to be honest, I didn't know they were hybrids until I got home and looked it up on the net. I have them now and I might as well enjoy them lol.

Show the Hybrid some love. All Dogs are a Hybrid and no one bashes people for not keeping Coyotes instead of Poodles. Let it go.

Yeah I thought about posting pics of my fish, not just the cichlids but all of them. I did post a pic of my pike in a diff thread. But if I do post pics....lol...don't make fun of my pink gravel...lol. I have had enough hassle from my friends about that already lol
