my cat does that too at times...she would knock the pellets and flakes containers over and treat herself to em....she got around to doing it so often, that I finally had to resort to keep the "fish food" under lock and key....Oh, and she never got sick from it, in fact took a great liking to it.

I went down into my living room where my 125 is and the door of my stand was open so I go to close it and I look inside and my cat is sitting there with a dumped bag of cichlid gold eating it all! I am sure he will be fine but are there anythings inside Hikari cichlid gold that can make a cat sick. He's my pride and joy and I hate when he gets sick. I guess he liked the smell and ate it. Now I got a true catfish lol.

Baited breath...It's going after the fish next.

You misunderstand, if you have to keep the food 'under lock and key'... It's time for some intervention!!! You cat's got a monkey on it's back .
