Unbelievable...
there is a dinky little petsupermarket near my house. I go there occasionally to by fish food, but their fish section is sad. The only fish they carry are the typical livebearers and other commonly seen tropical fish. Nonething special. The most exotic fish I have ever seen there was a pink convict (who was later eaten by a crayfish). I went in today to pick up a sponge filter, and guess what I see?!?!?!
Chinese hi-fins, 12.99
Elephant nose 9.99
Baby whale, had been sold, but was 10.99
bumble bee gobies, 3.49
a bunch of indian glass fish
Figure 8 puffers, 2", 6.99
needle fish, 9", 16.99
TSN, 8", 24.99
RTC, 14", 124.99 (overpriced, but it belongs to the manager and he doesn't want anyone buying it)
many senegal bichirs, 2 ornate, 2 saddled (latter were all bought in a heartbeat by some guy)
Freshwater moray eels, 10", 24.99
Jurupari, 6.99
Mudskippers, 5.99
Mind you, some specialty stores around here don't even carry this stuff, and an unknown petsupermarket was stocking these!!! I was amazed.
