lol, it is a type of mormorid (same family as elephant noses)

From what I remember, there's a REALLY cool pet shop in I think Orlando. It might have been Miami. It's been a few years since I've been down there. They sold stuff like Caimans, Giant Tortises, some decent sized monitor lizards and iguanas, exotic birds, and some sweet fish. I remember some large Arowana and lungfish.

Atlantis down on south dixie highway had a baby wallabee for a while. Large reptile selection as well. They have a 2000g tank with sharks as well

I still can't believe most arows are illegal in FL!!! As I was reading the list of illegal species, I felt like crying. Stupid government. They should hand out special licenses to MFK members.

i know right i will never understand why silvers are allowed but blacks aren't, it makes no sense...

Because of dumb people who release fish, like channel catfish, into our water ways.

yes, but if they are going to make blacks illegal, then you would think silvers would be too. if anything, a dumber fishkeeper would buy the silver as there much cheaper, people don't buy a 100$ black aro and then release it...

or $6000 asians. Sheesh. (yes, I know why they are actually disallowed, but can you imagine releasing one!!!)

only silver aros are legal here, even blacks aren't allowed.

Any 4" aro at 25.99 is not bad.
