no offence to alot of people on this thread... but!! why would ANYONE in the right mind keep a octofasciatus, managuense, motaguense, escondido, or any other cichlid apart from a MALE UMBEFERUS OR A MALE DOVII in a 300G tank!!!!

they want them to have alooooooooooot of room to sit around and not do a whole lot. i dont think they understand what an open water predator looks like when it swims around a massive tank. otherwise they would all be on the umbee dovii train. only reason i said umbee over dovii is because they arent quite as common.
