I sort of had a feeling that this was inevitable, I was just hoping to save up enough $$$ to buy a bigger tank and seperate the big bichirs from the small ones before it did. Today I came home from work to find my 10" Ornate with a Huuuuuuge fatty fat belly! Seeing as how there was no small fish or food in the tank for him to eat the first thing I did was look around to see who could have been the victim. He has already helped himself to one of my 7" Hujenta Gars so I knew he could eat big stuff. I keep all my bichirs well fed, but I guess his appetite is growing just like his size. Anyways after looking around the tank for about 20 seconds I realized that the victim was my 9" Ropefish Slick Rick. I had Slick Rick as long as I've had my tank so he was one of my favorite fish in my tank. It sucks that he ended up in that fat bastards belly! Early in the week I lost my without a doubt favorite fish my needlenose Mama to some unknown death
. It's been a rough week to say in the least.

JK. Guess it IS nature....My condolences.
