whats that in yr avitar a red or aussie

dope im jelous

yeah, i use to keep piranhas too. they start out nipping the fins but their favorite area to eat is the stomach. i had a 14 inch rhombues that could take a gulf-ball size bite out of my arms ( and it almost happen too) if it really wanted to. but piranhas are kind of boring to look at because they don't move around as much as arowanas. my jardini uses the entire tank. arowanas are majestic. piranahs are mean, attack stealthy, and if your careless, you could lose a finger. don't get me wrong though, a 18" black piranha is a site to see and it will easily dwarfs a 18", or even a 24" arowana any day. but arowanas are the most fun - agreeded.

what did you pay for a fish like that

yeah mine are still little they still have there spots i was more concered for the piranhas than any thing else my rtc tryed eating one but it was a lil to tall to fit in his mouth

are you asking me or the lucky guy with the gold arowana?

well if you are asking me then, i paid $400.00 for my 14" black piranha.

some guys on piranahs forums have 18 inchers, they'll cost any where between $900-$1500 (or even more), especially if you are buying it from a retail store.
and with shipping, its going to add another $100.
