You guys see this crap?

It's the same with that flowerhorn example he has just shown what the fish should look like as a adult then sent you a young fish of the same strain

With Flowerhorn it is completely different. The adult Flowerhorn picture he used is almost the highest quality you can find of that breed of Flowerhorn, that fish alone could cost several hundred to a few thousand dollars. By using that picture it is either implied that is the fish you are getting or it is one of the parent/brother. The fish you end up getting is not nearly as high a quality and will not turn out anything close to what show pic was. The fished base color and nuchal hump will be nothing close to what picture implies.

Now if the adult pic he used was the father or sibling then it would be appropriate to you it because it would be an accurate representation of what the fish would look like as an adult.

So if you were selling wild fry and wanted to show what the fish should look like at adult size what pics would you use as you wouldn't have any pics of the parents would you just take a pic from fish base or planet cat fish
How do you know the small flowerhorn he sent out won't get the big hump like in the pic he used as that's something that comes with age and not seen in small flowerhorns

Like I said only a fool would pass over hundreds of $$$ before talking to the seller 1st

This is too funny...Off the charts? Have a talk with Teresa and the water parameters she had checked for me, everything was just fine... Like i said, this is MY expierence with Shawn.

I know this is getting off topic now,but Josh you know what you said to me when you were here and picked up the Temensis and you know what you told me when you called a few days later.

I'll throw $.02 into this.

Showing the wrong pic is MISLEADING to the buyer, and poor practice. If it's not the actual fish, it should be CLEARLY stated.

Also, in the US, any pic you take and post online becomes yours by law. If you get your act together and get a lawyer, you can take the guy/girl using it for all they are worth. I know this b/c several pics of one of my cars showed up on ebay saying it was for sale. I found out due to friends calling asking why it was so cheap. My lawyer got involved... that guy is no longer able to use ebay for anything and was handed a stiff fine for doing what he did.

I agree, the buyer needs to talk to the buyer.

By that size it would already have a prominent hump, better body color, and better body structure at that size.

.

I agree, I sell baby fishes (too young to show adult colors) so I post Adult pics, but I clearly state that pictures shown are not actual fish for sale. In the long run its less headaches to deal with anyways.

I"ve had some good luck with online buying but I've been very careful to contact the sellers first. That and I'm mainly buying things like live food cultures ect. Not enough margin to really bother with fraud.

My Rays were just fine that i brought home and acclimated and the Peacock Bass straight up looked terrible and covered with Ick. You cannot tell me that fish have not come in in bad shape or full of parasites. If and average joe came in and saw how dirty the tanks were i'm sure they would agree, so please, dont put words in MY mouth
