you know what really grind my gears?

this is really not gonna sit well with many people but I have to say it

Really it is a youtube video and there is nothing that I can do about. And at any rate I am not gonna turn my world worrying about how other people keep their fish. Unless someone really wants to know a better way than they are doing it, I can't be bothered to waste my breath or my time with them. Go ahead rock your world enjoy it till it comes down on you like a tonne of bricks.

As for me I will keep on keeping on with my fishieworld the way I want to keep it.

Now if someone asks for opinion and really want's to learn better I am all for trying to teach them.

If not MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH life is far to short to get hung up on the idiocy of another human being.

Another thing I can not be bothered to do is hunt out other peoples problem fish to "rescue" them, because I have found that many times it just ends up causing issue with my own tanks. That is unless it is a uncommon fish they for sure I will help you out by taking that to large fish off your hands FOR FREE that is after all I am rescuing it

Oh that poor aro!!! How dare that guy torture that poor fish with that awful blue substrate......

that sucks.... but unfortunately i think about 70% or more of the arowanas sold wont be housed reasonably... i wounder the ratio of monster tanks sold per arowana? ive seen lfs with hundreds in stock that dont even carry tanks over 55gals

instead of tank i would just get a pond liner setup and put it right into the corner of my house. it cost less too.

Less money for the tank maybe, but what about everything else? Ever bothered to think about how much money just keep the temp up will be with such a huge body of water? What kind of heater you would need? How big of a filter you would need? Especially becuase of your constant 88-90 degree temp average, how much heat loss will you be experiencing with that big of an openning? You might even have to have a custom jacuzzi lid built just to be able to maintain your temperature. In the long run, these setups cost a TON more...its not just having a big tank, theres so many other factors to consider.
