You start out with one 20 gallon tank and 23 years later after you have owned over 10+ tanks and then finally settle down to just 4 tanks with the biggest being 520 gallons.
 
when you carry a tank that is so heavy that you have a hard time moving it a few feet. Me and my dad carried a 120 48x24x24, It was heavy!
 
Also when you have a hard time fitting the tank and stand though the dorway. If the dore was any less wide my 120 48x24x24 it was about 2-3 inches less open it would not have fit
 
When your other half stops asking how much you spent at the Lfs because she knows she won't like the answer.

When you get scuba lessons and a shark suit to clean your tank and then say it is over stocked so you need to get a bigger tank
