When your dog has an ascot.

When your the one that comes to bed, spins around three times and curls into a ball at a small space at the foot if the bed.

When your freezing your butt off in the middle of the night but you won't get up to get a blanket because youll wake the dog up, then he will get up to follow you and you feel bad that you woke him up and he had to jump back up on the bed and burrrrrrrr never mind. Poor guy.

When you have special ice pack neckerchiefs to cool them down when they get too warm(of course you have two of them so 1 can be re-freezing while the other is being worn)
When their food contains salmon, duck, buffalo etc and you're eating ground beef
When you buy stairs to make it easier for him to get on the couch
