Nothing worse than split long fins, ew. Oh wait, but then put them in an oscar... Disaster!
2x XL Bacto Surge Sponge filters (each one meant for 125G) and 2x Aquaclear 110. I do 30-50% wc twice a week.

You've never kept long fin Oscars before. They're not goldfish, most long fin oscars' fins look like crap, more noticeble as they get bigger.
Nah you're right though, Oscars are known for fin nipping, they are like tiger barbs. That was sarcasm in case you missed it.

Oscars faces just gets uglier as they get bigger or older, what looks like crevices are just their ugly face. HITH is EASY to see if they were to have it. Which by the way is caused by poor water quality and diet, I feed them hikari, northfin, and nls and their water is pristine.

Guess they had hith for 2 years and is somehow healthy and happy. LOL you wish it was hith.
