That Pan's Labyrinth drawing is cool!!!
Here are some tips from an art major;
-Use a constant gradient for shading
-Sketch out the idea several times before commiting to the final project
-practice drawing people around you in different poses
-Experiment with different styles and mediums
-Work on proportions a bit more
-Try to keep the paper as clean as possible
Again, the Pan's Laryrinth drawing a really good for your age!!!
Thanks! That's my favorite movie ever.
- My shading is spontaneous. I shade where i feel like lol.
- I only do that if I cant get it. I f I like the way it comes out, I decide not to risk it and just keep going.
- i try.
- I can't switch styles. it just doesnt work like that for me. I do try to vary my medium, it's just the pencil ones that end up being finished lol.
- I know my proportions suck, but ahh well. I've made a few notes recently, like that the foot is the length of the forearm, the jaw is half of the upper arm, the upper leg is the length of the midsection, etc etc.
- That is physically impossible lol. Not only do my hands turn black while earasing, but my scanner is so sensitive to smudges that it'll pic up things i never saw. I do what I can though.
Thanks for the tips! Oh and random question: which PL pic did you see? there's four or five.
