Photo lounge. :D

I'll get full tank shots and more of him to put in my "Phase 1: Complete" thread in the media lounge tomorrow.

Anybody for the price?

Just curious to see if the lfs's mistake got me a good deal or not...

I don't know what the availability or demand is like in Maine, but I sold some this size and larger for $20 a pop. Can't really compare SoCal with Maine though.

True...

I have never seen a bichir in a LFS in Maine. If that gives you an idea. There may have been some, but I never saw them.

Is was worth the $30 I payed for it, to me... So I guess that's what matters. :)

Two hours later:

Oh man... I have a Lap. lol

It's pretty awesome seeing him roam around... He's just monstrous next to my sens.

Also, should I be expecting my Sens to grow teeth like this, because DAMN!

i just dropped a nightcrawler in the tank to see if the lap would try to get it... He didn't.

BUT, I witnessed my sens deathrolling for the first time!!! :headbang2

They're doing it as I type actually... It kicks @ss! I figured the size of the worm would keep the sens away, but they proved me wrong. lol

try ghost shrimp maybe :screwy: :headbang2

lol... he'll come around. Bichirs are known to go on hunger strikes for days at a time.

I would, for sure, but all I have is a digital camera with an extremely limited memory card.

Just for a visual:

One of the three grabbed one end, and swam away (the behavior talked of in your thread)... Well, about ten seconds later one of my other ones comes up and grabs the other end, and locks on tight. Then, they just starting spinning around faster than I could have ever imagined they were capable of... It was insane. Probably 4-5 rolls per second, at least, and i'm not even exaggerating.
