young gar species

Hello, im looking to buy a gar, i found a seller but he isnt sure what species is it exactly. i wouldnt be able to handle anything bigger than a spotted/florida/longnose, so i need to know if its not an alligator or longnose gar. IMG_1728.jpeg

Gators are usually black or very dark, the eye appears larger because their snout is much shorter. Gator snout is wider also. Floridas will have more of a bar pattern when there small than spots.

thanks for help! do you have any other people that can do second opinions? i want to be 100% sure, i wont be able to release it or sell it really if its another species, im from poland where gars are rare, and aquariums arent that popular here.
