just wondering mate, when did your umbee start looking 100% male? when did it start getting all the blue down his body and fins? just wondering as i'm still trying to convince myself that mine might still end up being a male LOL

This one, very young about 4.5'', but I knew it was male at 2.5'' just because of the shape. I had four of them and out of the four two were males and two female. The other three were killed very quickly by my last flowerhorn batch.
ok fair enough. do you have any pics of them all at 2.5"? just so i can see the difference between them at that size. cheers mate
No I don't sorry. At the time I was only concerned with pictures of my flowerhorn fry they were with. He was in my pond for moths after that and it was only recent I put him in the tank. These were to be the first, and last pics I ever took of him now that he is sold
