Young Oscars and NLS

I got two 1.5 inch -2 inch Oscars today (Tigers beautiful markings got them from a very reputable distributor no Petsmart oscars for me

Anyways I got plenty of 1mm cichlid formula new life spectrum. Would it be a good diet for the small oscars?

Oh I was not worried whether they would eat it so much as if it had enough protein for them. I also spent 15 bucks on the jar I have and would like to see it go to good use. I also got the 3mm cichlasomma if thats still a good diet for when they get to that size.

I meant no affense. In my area the Oscars look like crap. I doubt that is the case at all or most petsmart or petco stores.

You don't need to add greens if the main diet is NLS. Herbivores do great on a diet of only NLS.

Since Oscars are Carnivores, if anything, I would add a higher protein pellet or frozen foods.

That being said, he will still be fine on just NLS.
