If you do have the intention to give earthworms, pls do cleanse them throughly, medicate them with fish meds if you must. Id avoid risking having my precious channas catch such parasites over a meal of earthworms. Turn to pellets, frozen foods, or sea shrimps. They'd greatly appreciate you if you make the effort to keep them healthy. Try to feed them once every other day instead.


Id really heed all the advice given to me if i were you danny. What you are doing is merely insulting those who actually bother helping you. Even if you dont give a damn about these people, spare a thought for your snakeheads.

BWHAHAHAHAHAHA, man the OP cracks me up... You english men can't get anything straight can you? The white worms you were seeing were planaria, harmless creatures. Reminds me of that oscar redtail cat guy. Every sentence he wrote contradicted the one before it.

Very sorry Fingerling, only just got back to this thread but i have no problem with advice from decent people, the likes of yourself, South Coast Nelly, Thor and others but Mr. TokyoGasmask's opinion of himself is far too much for me to take. I thanked him on many occassions only to be ridiculed with his replies, in a valed manner and only ever reacted when he tried to put me up to be mocked by others.
If you want insulting, it doesn't get more insulting than that (It was completely unwarrented and uncalled for).

You were asking the same questions after many experienced Channa keepers had allready told you.

Most of the people answering your questions (myself included) have made the mistakes you were lining yourself up for (with regards to the mixing) and were giving you REAL HONEST advice from past experiences. Yup sometimes it can get a little irritating when people refuse to listen!
You only have to take a look through all the Channa threads you have made to see this.

And you saying i "Put you up to be mocked by others", isn't this exactly what the post I am now replying to is doing, but to me?

So Danny, please quit the vendettas, stop taking things the wrong way and lets get on with the hobby shall we?

I too no longer wish to continue this descussion but since you ask how you ridiculed me,
When i first spoke to you i was clear in saying i was brand new to this species and so needed to ask questions, i have taken the advice and have explained that i now only keep channa in species tanks.
Regarding mixing channa with other fish, read the sticky on Aurantimaculata which at least justified the question but your comments:-

"You only need to look through Danny's other posts" (Inviting ridicule)
then, hinting that i am an irresponsible person because i put pulchra with blerehi after already explaining that i was brand new to the species and inviting more ridicule over "wrong temps." Its easy and there is no glory in mocking somebody who has already conceeded the fact that he is new, and baring in mind i was looking for a way to bring the temp. down.

Ive explained myself now let this be an end to it.
