Excellent photo!
What kind of snakeheads? Also did they do well in a planted tank? Long term?

oh wow thanks guys i had no idea this had even taken place!

I’m not sure, but I think I read somewhere that after that picture was taken the channa ripped everything up because they burrowed under all the roots. So it is a precious picture that may never get retaken. Got my vote for sure.
yes this is true, a lot of the plants were stem varieties so the fish dug them all up. its possible to create a planted tank with snakeheads and have it be aquascape worthy but it takes a lot of careful rockwork, dry start mossing everywhere and secured java ferns for the bulk of the greenery. stems are a no go, and aquasoil isn't ideal for substrate, better to use sand so it doesn't turn into fine particles when they decide to try to dig out of the tank.

I sold 5 of the fish recently so now have a pair left. The tank looks different but still nice, i'll try to take a pic for you.
