Or, like my girlfriend, has never understood why you keep fish, and will never get it?

I'm very fortunate. My wife never really cared for fish much until recently when she saw some large RTCs and aros and arapaimas at a public aquarium in Korea. She just recently pushed me to look for a larger tank for her RTC and really wants me to design and build/buy something in the 2000 range when it gets larger.

my girls accepts the fact that i love my fish but does not understand why... still she goes with to visit some LFS for supplies.

Honestly, i dont need my girl to love my fishes too, but understanding and accepting it is fine with me, plus, it becomes my alone time if you know what i mean.

Howdy,

My wife is a great support. I was actually looking into getting a 120 gal tank to replace my old 80 gal. Instead, my wife suggested to go big and get a 220 gal aquarium.

However, she does not share the extreme passion for fishkeeping (yet). Well, it had 25 years to develop in my case, my wife is in her 1st year. But it looks promising

My other half supports it, doesnt understand it but accepts it.

If anything bad was ever said all I would say is, "You want me to be into drugs, drinking, and party'en instead?" (this is a real option btw)

My wife use to **** her pants but she buys expensive purses so I buy expensive fish!

My girl is into it as much as I am, she is actually the one that got me interested in it. I took the ball and ran like hell. Earlier she was hand feeding fish in our 300 it was pretty funny
