Cute I love red tails as well, I think the red tail is their power source for imortality:naughty:
Thats why they live sooooooooo long.;):D

I forgot to add, also tell us why you love it there's got to be that 1 thing that you love about it or mabye you just plain love aquatic kittys:D. But I'm not saying any names like... necrocanis :).

For me it's a tie, a 3 way tie that is. My Gulpers, Juruense and RTC/TSN hybrid. The gulpers are just plain adorable they're like pacman nuthin but mouth, plus you gotta love the way they swim. They just come off as offish, but in a good way. They basically stay out in the open a big plus I like sein my fishies and they're very personable. I can't even clean my tank or do a water change without them bein all over my arm. They're constantly bumpin into me an rubin on me an nipin at me. I'm constantly bangin my arm after one of their more inquisitive bites. They always start soft an then get harder. Next the Juruense I mean com'on he's probably one of the best lookin cats out there second to the Trigunus. I love the poses he does you know the tri-pod stance and that tail filament is awesome. The Trigunus and the Juruense are the only ones in that family that keep it for life, I think? Again not a big time hider which I like, most of the time he's perched on a rock in that tri-pod pose enjoying the current out of my powerheads. Gets to reasonable size, but manageable you can keep him in a big tank for life. Last but not least the hybrid. What can I say I enter the room an he's all over the place at the front of the glass shootin back and forth waitin for me to feed him. He eats from my hand will tolerate my petting and he's just a good lookin fish. Despite what others say about hybrid and TSN's and Rdetails bein a danger to small tankmates my boy must be the exeption that proves the rule. I got him at 4" and now he's 12" and still a pussycat when it comes to tankmates. Training him to eat shrimp and dead foods(the local LFS thought it made the fish more sellable, is that right? by feedin him live fish) meant starvin him an he was stubborn bout it wouldn't eat for a month an three weeks he still didn't molest the other fish. He was in with3 2-3" woodcats a 4" ID shark and a 4" dorbignyi and he didn't try to eat one. I can't introduce any new fish to his tank though cause new fish sre food to him. Everytime I add a new fish his whiskers come alive an he tries to search out this tasty tidbit. He totally scans the woodcats, stingrays, Juruense and Trachycorystes passes them over till he finds the new introduction an bam I'm fightin to get my new pet outta his mouth. Well that's it sorry for goin off like that I just really love my fish.
