I realized today how much I truly enjoy my fish. I realized it because I can't possibly decide which fish in my collection is my favorite. I can't even decide which tank is my favorite. First was the Mono that Rallysman gave me. The colors on that thing can't be seen in any picture I have posted. The Temensis that Li shipped to me has a great story, it went from Maryland to Indiana to Minnesota all in the same weekend, and is typical of the quality you see in in Li's collection. The Spotted loach that JD_MAN gave me has always been one of my favorites. It's easy to spot even among 45 similar tankmates, and is definitely the cream of the loach crop. I have loved Stingrays since I was a child, and I can spend hours sitting on my couch watching that fish. I have over a dozen Polypterus, I can't even decide which one of those is my favorite. The Gold Dust was the hardest to come by, but the Ornates all have great color. Watching those fish eat makes that my favorite tank, until I feed the loaches. JD7.62 gave me some great loaches that are packing on weight. I have some Dats that are growing up nicely, and are very stable. Those will be competing for the favorite spot. I think I have my favorite fish in every tank. Do you ever find yourself not having enough time to enjoy your favorite fish? Thanks to every MFK'er that has added to my collection, you gave me my favorite fish.
