Your Favorite Hybrid Cichlid

I don't have anything against them and if I made any hybrids I would definitely grow out a couple of the fry to see how they turn out. I actually have a 40b that has a female Cuban and a male Jag and the Cuban is holding eggs and just dropped her tube. The Jag seems like he could care less but IF they do breed I would keep a couple of the fry to grow out. Kinda hoping it happens just to see how it plays out.

......i hope they do breed.___thats a good hybrid project....me and oscarman2003 have a breeding project goin on now with my 9" male cuban and his 10" female flowerhorn.

______rose queen x lyonsi sounds like a a good mix.I wish i can find a lyonsi here in Maryland.I would breed a male to my female texas or flowerhorn.

...no not yet but she is holding eggs now and he is ready...he have breed with my friend jd and my female flowerhorn. his brother has 3 babies left of the cuban x jd but my female ate the eggs 2 days after she laid them......but i have seen convicts breed with red devils and flowerhorns 2 times bigger then the male.____do a 25% to 30% water change and see what happens.

what chris is referring to here is a few mfk'rs, myself included, have fish we know to be convicts crossed with green severums. Chris refuses to believe they exist. Chris, If i knew an ichthyologist, I would send him the preserved body once one of mine dies of old age, they are about 12 years old now. This would be the only way to prove it to you I am certian. But do you know an icthyologist that would want to proove something like that?
