Better production quality with the newwer recording tech. Three guitars playing seemlessly is better than two guitars seemlessly. How many people where at Live After Death? At Rock in Rio they stopped counting after 200,000, to me that made that DVD/CD that much better. Another bonus for RiR was the best of Maidens beginings with the best of newwer Maiden. The cool thing about LAD was it was filmed after IIRC 2 years of touring, and Nicko got to go for a swim during Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner.

Watching Live After Death right now.

Metallica's "live sh*t: binge and purge"
Pink Floyd's "Pulse"
Page and Plant's "No Quarter"

I never really got into the newer guitar player. I always felt he was trying to hard to be fast. I do have some of the newer albums just don't seem to be as good as older maiden.

Fear of the Dark was an awesome album, I cant say if it would have been better or worse without Janicks influence but it and The X Factor wouldnt be the same without him or Blaze Bayley.

Having Janick in the current lineup just brings more sound to an allready lengendary band.

PULSE

There are tons of good ones out there, but I dont care what mood Im in or what Im doing, but Nirvanas MTV Unplugged in NYC is just amazing. I know most where covered but damn it was good.

Cause I heard it today on the radio, it would have been cool to have been there to hear the Eagles play that really awesome acoustic version of Hotel California for the first time!

I agree that it has to be one of the unplugged albums...most likely Nirvana's, but Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots had amazing performances as well.
