Your Fighting Skills

Well a lot of gangs at my school want me to join them cause I'm good with a bow staff.
I don't know Karate but I do know Karazy.

Martial Arts are a great hobby/past time/work out. However when the **** hits the fan and it comes down to protecting my self and my family I will use the best means of protection. Fists and feet cant match lead at 1200ft/sec.

This thread was about fighting skills. The OP didnt specify it be just martial arts, wrestling or anything like that. Just fighting skills.

I do find it funny that alot of the martial arts guys are pissed at the "de-rail" about guns but dont care about the video game references. Is it because you all know that when it comes down to it the guy with a gun and the experience to use it will ultimately win any engagement? Dont get me wrong I have HUGE respect for you guys and I wish I could do that. I cant, but I garuntee you that if some crackhead breaks into my house with his "nine" my family will be safer with my guns then with my fists.

you ever shoot bench? now that is hard! i dont care how powerful the scopes are, putting a bullet through the same hole 3 times isnt easy.

this is my next toy.

Yeah I shoot bench and prone. It is hard. I have put bullets through the same whole with a Remington 700 .308 at 300 yards before.

What is that? A Barret 416? Very nice.

I have no problem with guns, because I am smart enough to know that a good fighter will fight one on one, but a smart one shows up to a fist fight with a knife, and to a knife fight with a gun, and doesn't show up to a gun fight. Fighting (in any form empty hand, or weapon) is an art form, and in the right scenario, even a gun can loose to someone without a gun.

so we finally get to a ring [friends backyard] and as soon as i land the first punch he drops and starts like about to cry and from this day on he hasnt said a word about fighting

well yeah, the guns are great for those moments. That's what theyre for for me too. Anyone crossing the line will face the wrath. But if someone steals my fish I'd kick his ass with my hands.
