Your First Ever Set-up

Hey Guys

Time for a bit of reflection i think lol

What was your first ever set-up, dimensions and fish etc. How far have you come to present?

i had a 32 litre lol dimensions prob about 12x12x12 INCHES lol
had 2 pearlscales and 4 minnows and 3 borneo suckers.

oh well....now i got a 10g, 125g and a 175g with....
2 gold sevs, 1 delhezi, 3 albino plecs, 1 sailfin and 1 panaque, a venustus, 2 FHs, a featherfin cat, 2 white spotted doras, 1 fire eel, a bgk, a ram and 2 corys.

also got some goldfish lol for my daughter

Mine was a 29 gallon. 9 years old, school of black skirt tetras, school of neons, school of danios. Lasted about 3 years.

Well, when I was about 2, my parents got me a betta in a little plastic hex cup. Then later they got me a Crayola crayon tank with 7 or 8 comets when I was about 6.

The first setup I bought and set up myself was an acrylic 10 gallon from Walmart when I was 8. It had an oranda, figure 8 puffer, water dog, and a betta (great stocking right). The water dog ate the betta, the puffer maimed and killed the water dog, and the oranda eventually just died. Over the last 13 or so years since then, I've had a bunch of other setups-up to 10 at one time-now that I'm in college and almost broke, I only have a 75 set up, but I still have a ton of other empty tanks for when I have money again

What is a water dog? I heard about them several years ago but google images only turned up labradors, lol!

It was like a 30 gallon tank with a gold fish that got huge! Then we sold it, then got the 65 gal, then I got a 10 gal, then my bro got a 10 gal, then I got a 29 gal.

^a water dog is the larval form of a tiger salamander
mine was a 10 gallon with various tetras, barbs and the occasional betta

Then had 20 or so babees a few whiles later.

Then got a chinese sucking loach.

Lol i suppose we all start somewhere i know i made quite a few dumb decisions which resulted in some pretty unhappy fish. But i starting reading up and still have lots to learn.
