What was the first take you EVER owned?

I'm not talking about your first professionally done tank, but that tank we've all had when we were just young little guys.

Might not even be yours, but something your parents had.

Basically, what was the first tank you've ever had, the tank that made you get into this hobby.

for me it was a 10 gallon my brother had, i had a goldfish from Walmart (we wern't into the hobby then) that i swear was a koi, we had to get rid of it when we moved.

What about you guys? you have any tanks you remember from your childhood?

My first tank was 40g with 2 small oscars and a knife fish which i do not no the id off.

my very first tank was a half gallon maybe even less from walmar with 3 fish. i think they were some kind of minnows or barbs. they were small gray wiht orange on there fins

My church has a fair every year.....Feeders are the prize if one makes a ping-pong into a beta jar.....WHen I was one, my father won me my first goldfish....there were 7.....For ten years, I had a 30g in the back of my sunny room growing these 7 goldfish....."::Memories, in the corner of my mind::"

WHEN I WAS 12 I GOT A USED 10 GAL FROM I CANT REMEMBER WHERE WHEN. HAD AN ANGEL AND PLECO. ANGEL DIED AFTER A MONTH THE PLECO LASTED 6 YEARS AND SEVERAL TANKS. GOT HIM AT WALMART

An ancient 30 gallon hexagon tank with antique sponge filter inheirited from ex-girlfriend's dead grandma. Been upgrading ever since.

way back when I was like five years old, I had a fish bowl with a couple swordtails and a couple others that I can't remember.

I didn't know much about fish, so needless to say, they all died within a few days. :(

i still have mine it's a 29gal. it had a couple male guppys a silver mollie and a raphael cat in it
